Privacy Policy

VividComic
Effective date: May 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how VividComic (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our mobile application. We wrote this document in clear, everyday language so you can understand what happens on your device and what may be sent over the network when you use features such as text-to-image generation. We do not operate a mandatory user account inside the App: you can explore core features without signing in or registering with us.

1. Our product in brief

The App helps you turn short text descriptions into stylized anime and manga-inspired artwork. You may pick visual styles, save results locally, and browse a history of generations stored on your device. Throughout this experience, we do not collect user facial information. The App is not designed to scan, measure, or recognize faces, and we do not build face templates or biometric profiles from your camera or gallery.

2. No account is required

You are not required to create a username, password, or profile with us to use the App’s main creative tools. We do not maintain an in-App login system for accessing the core generator. That means we do not collect typical “account” credentials such as email-and-password pairs from you for App access. If you use optional features offered by your device or app store (for example, signing into a store account to make a purchase), those flows are handled by the platform under its own interfaces; we still do not collect user facial information as part of the App’s design.

3. Information we do not collect

We want to be explicit about categories of data the App does not gather for its own purposes:

Because we do not collect user facial information, there is no facial dataset for us to retain, sell, or hand to partners.

4. Information processed on your device

Much of what you do stays on your phone or tablet. That includes drafts you type before sending a generation request, thumbnails and file paths shown in your local gallery inside the App, and entries stored in the App’s private storage and local database for history. Operating the App may involve routine technical signals handled by the operating system (for example, memory and storage use) that do not, by themselves, tell us who you are. Again, we do not collect user facial information from the device for App analytics in the manner described in this policy.

5. Text prompts and AI image generation

When you tap generate, the descriptive text you entered—together with parameters needed for that single operation, such as style choices—is transmitted over an encrypted connection to a service provider that performs the image synthesis you requested. That transmission is limited to what is necessary to complete the generation you initiated; it is not used by us to supply your data to unrelated third-party artificial intelligence businesses for their own model-training programs, cross-app user profiling, targeted advertising, or marketing lists.

We do not sell or rent your prompts or usage patterns to third-party AI companies for those companies’ independent AI products. We also do not provide facial imagery or facial measurements to AI vendors, because we do not collect user facial information in the first place.

Retention of prompt text on provider systems, if any, is governed by the technical configuration of the generation pipeline and is kept to what is needed for reliability and abuse prevention; the App itself emphasizes local control of finished images in your history screen.

6. Photos, storage, and optional sharing

If you choose to export an image or pick a picture from your gallery for an App feature, the system may show a permission dialog. Granting access lets the App read or write the files you explicitly select or save. That access is for ordinary file operations (such as saving a PNG you generated), not for extracting user facial information. We remain committed: we do not collect user facial information from your photo library as part of the App’s functionality.

7. Purchases and digital goods

If the App offers optional credits, subscriptions, or other digital goods, purchases are completed through your app marketplace account using that marketplace’s checkout. We do not ask you to type full payment card numbers into a custom form inside the App for those purchases. Transaction confirmations are processed by the store; we may receive limited purchase state information needed to unlock features. This purchase flow does not change our stance that we do not collect user facial information.

8. Service providers and platform services

Running a modern mobile app relies on infrastructure we do not fully control: your device manufacturer, operating system provider, and app store host standard services such as download, update delivery, crash diagnostics where enabled, and parental controls. Those parties process data under their own notices. Separately, as described above, the AI generation step uses a provider that returns an image based on your prompt. In all cases, our arrangement is oriented toward not monetizing your prompts through unrelated third-party AI services and toward maintaining the rule that we do not collect user facial information.

9. Security practices we follow in the App

We ship the App through official store channels with integrity checks expected by those stores. We do not distribute executable code updates that bypass the store review process (“hot updates”) inside the App package described here. We do not rely on concealing the App’s behavior behind aggressive code obfuscation as a substitute for honest disclosure. Network calls related to generation use industry-standard transport security where supported by the platform. None of these measures involves gathering user facial information, which we continue not to collect.

10. Children and families

The App is a general-audience creativity tool. Parents and guardians should supervise younger users’ device use and purchases. We do not ask children to submit government identifiers inside the App, and we do not run a feature that asks anyone to submit selfies for identity verification. We do not collect user facial information, including from minors.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this text as the App gains features or as platform requirements evolve. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top and surface the updated policy inside the App (for example, on first launch after an update or in Settings). Continued use after the new date means you have seen the refreshed explanation.

12. How to reach us

For questions or complaints about this policy, contact us via the app store listing or the contact method you provide for the product.
